Highlights:
Boys
- Northern Lebanon’s Gage Krall opens up his senior season placing 4th overall setting a new 5K PR of 16:06. This time was 39 seconds faster than he ran on this course in 2018. This was a great opener on a fast course for Krall. He is the #8 returner in PIAA AA.
- Solanco teammates Avery Jacobsen (so) and Anthony Solis (fr) placed 31st and 32nd respectively running times of 17:37 and 17:40. Solis was the 3rd freshman to cross the finish line on Saturday. Jacobson’s time was a new PR and 13 seconds faster than he ran here last season.
- Solanco placed 10th out of 22 total teams.
Girls
- Solanco freshman Daria Neaves opened up her HS career with a top 10 finish, placing 9th overall in an impressive 20:20. She was the top CPAR finisher in the girls race.
- Northern Lebanon freshman Angel Sanders also had a nice debut placing 30th in 22:15.
- Solanco placed 7th out of 17 teams. 4 of Solanco’s top 5 are either freshman or sophomores.
- Central Mountain placed 9th out of 17 teams. This is a very young team with 5 freshman in their top 7. They should be fun to watch for years to come.
