Highlights:

• Northern’s Marlee Starliper ran 17:05 for the win. She expanded her lead over Henderson’s Jenna Mulhern at each mile checkpoint; from 4-seconds to 23- seconds to 28-seconds. This was the closest anyone has hung with her in PA XC competition for some time. Mulhern would finish 2nd in an impressive 17:33.
• 26 District III Girls finished the Challenge Race in under 20-minutes!

• Chambersburg continues to prove they deserve to be the #1 team in our D3AAA rankings. They finished 3rd overall (State College – 1st; University High (WV) – 2nd). Their score of 210 points was 61 points better than D3AAA #2 ranked Northeastern. Carlisle was the 3rd overall D3AAA team today with 301 total points. Hershey was the #4 D3AAA team today with 307 points. 37 teams in total competed in the challenge race today.
