The LL League Coaches Association hosted their 2020 League Award’s Banquet today at Penn Manor Comet Fields. It was a change from their usual event held annually at the Doubletree Resort, but the beautiful day outdoors made for a very nice setting. Kudos to the coaches association for holding such a great event!

The event started with co-Presidents Mari Cunningham (coach, Lampeter Strasburg) and Mike Craighead (coach, JP McCaskey) welcoming everyone to the event and providing season summaries for both section 1 and 2. They recognized those athletes who medaled at districts as well as states.

The first award of the day was the “Courageous Runner Award” which went to Alyssa Fedorshak. You can read more about her journey on her way to receiving this award in an article written by John Walk – here
