To qualify for the 2023 PIAA State Track and Field Championship an athlete or relay must finish within the top 2 of their event for class AA and within the top 5 for class AAA or place within the top 8 AND meet the additional time/mark standards. Those standards must be achieved at Districts to advance. Performances achieved throughout the season do not matter except for seeding purposes.
