2. Palmyra (1) Lost to #8 Hershey. Still without last year’s #1, Matt Carroll. Still a very strong invitational team

Week 4 Schedule Highlights: #3 Cedar Crest at #6 Hempfield (9/25), #8 Carlisle at #4 Chambersburg, #10 Manheim Township at #5 Warwick (9/25), Carlisle Invite (9/29)

Notes: Once again, AAA boys saw the most shifting in this weeks rankings. These teams are so closely matched it is really difficult to separate them from each other. The new #1 is Twin Valley. Palmyra drops in the rankings following their loss to Hershey. The Carlisle invite will begin to provide some clarity.

1. Carlisle (1) Defeated District 6 Mifflin County

2. Governor Mifflin (3) Defeated Muhlenberg, Wyomissing, and Oley Valley; Team Champion at Council Rock Invite placing 3 runners in the top 3.

3. Dallastown (2) Defeated Gettysburg, A #2 York Catholic, and Fairfield

4. Hershey (4) Defeated Palmyra

5. Cumberland Valley (5) Defeated Chambersburg and State College

6. Elizabethtown (7) Defeated #9 Hempfield and Warwick

7. Exeter (8) Defeated #6 Wilson, Schuylkill Valley, and Kutztown

Week 4 Schedule Highlights: Carlisle Invite (9/29)

Notes: Minimal changes in the AAA girls rankings this week. Exeter defeated Wilson and moved up one spot. Hempfield drops one spot following losses to Elizabethtown and Warwick. Warwick and Mechanicsburg join the bubble watch. Gov Mifflin’s (GM) performance at the CR Invite moves them into #2. GM’s depth is what is currently separating them from Dallastown.

Notes: Camp Hill remains atop the girls rankings. Delone Catholic and York Catholic flip flop spots based on results from the PIAA Foundation. They could easily reverse spots again in the coming weeks, they are that close. York Catholic boys defeated Fairfield during the week and takeover the #1 spot in the boys rankings. Trinity debuts in the boys rankings at #3.
