I’m really not sure if there is a better collection of middle-distance and distance talent anywhere else in the country than in Central Pennsylvania. Taryn Parks (Jr, Greencastle-Antrim) and Marlee Starliper (Jr, Northern) ended the indoor season tied with the fastest one-mile time in the country – 4:39.05! Kileigh Kane (Sr, State College) ran 4:52.87 and was ranked 19th nationally. Starliper was also ranked #2 nationally at two-miles and #3 nationally at 3k. Warwick senior Kate Dickow ranked 30th nationally at 3k. Parks ended the indoor campaign ranked 15th in the country at 800m. The talent doesn’t end there either. This is a long preview, but appropriately highlights the quality and depth of talent in Central PA. Enjoy!
