Boys Race Highlights
York Suburban sophomore Cole Adams wins the individual title in 16:27. He was challenged by Kennard-Dale junior Collin Wolf and Northeastern junior James Herman. Wolf would finish 2nd in 16:29 with Herman coming in 3rd running 16:32.
Cole Perry (so, Northeastern) and Andrew Hirneisen (sr, Gettysburg) claimed 4th and 5th place, running 16:41 and 16:44 respectively.

The team race turned out to be a close one between eventual champion York Suburban and runner-up Gettysburg. Kennard-Dale wasn’t too far behind in 3rd. Suburban and Kennard-Dale will battle it out with Wyomissing for the AA District III title in a week and a half. Those three are our favorites to move onto states in AA.
Girls Race Highlights

Margaret Carroll continued her outstanding junior season by picking up the YAIAA individual championship. Her time of 18:28 bettered 2nd place finisher Emily Schuler (sr, Dallastown) by 2-seconds.

Red Lion seniors Kiersten and Gwendolyn Lloyd finish 3rd and 4th running 18:46 and 18:58, respectively. Dallastown sophomore Lydia Tolerico rounds out the top 5 with her 19:12.

In the team race, Dallastown pulled out the upset over Northeastern by the score of 49 to 58. Red Lion was close behind in third with 67 points. The PIAA District III AAA (D3AAA) girls race may be the event of the day in two Saturdays. The teams in D3AAA are no joke. Should be an awesome race!!
