Here’s a look at the top 20 “AA” individual place-winners from each of the 4 conference/league championships. AA qualifies 3 teams to the PIAA State Championships. AA then qualifies the top 15 individual place winners who are NOT on one of the 3 state qualifying teams.
Boys:
We’re projecting that York Suburban, Kennard-Dale, and Wyomissing will be the three teams qualifying for states. Susquehannock should also challenge for one of those 3 team spots. When you remove the individuals from those qualifying squads, AA still qualifies 15 other individuals into states. Those highlighted in yellow are individuals not on one of the 3 qualifying teams who have a top 40 5k time (times from invites only) in AA this season.
Girls:
We’re projecting that Northern, Donegal, and Wyomissing will be the three teams qualifying for states. Gettysburg and Boiling Springs should also factor into the team state qualifying discussion. When you remove the individuals from those qualifying squads, AA still qualifies 15 other individuals into states. Those highlighted in yellow are individuals not on one of the 3 qualifying teams who have a top 40 5k time (times from invites only) in AA this season.
