XC Highlights: Qualifying for states both as a team and individually in 2019. Team finished 2nd overall at Districts.

Favorite XC/TF memory to date: XC camp over the summer; running up a ski slope at XC camp

What do you enjoy most about the sport of XC and/or TF: Enjoys the summer and winter training sessions with my best friends; the running culture; the mental and physical toughness the sport requires.

Academic Highlights: Making distinguished honor role for the first three marking periods of my sophomore year.

Favorite HS class to date and why: Honors Chemisty because its difficult and tests my mental boundaries and limits. The teacher is also a prior cross country coach.

Weekly Updates

Week of:

March 30, 2020 – 40 mile week.

Workouts:

– 7 miles off and on tempo miles

1) 7:42, 2) 5:49, 3) 7:26, 4) 5:39, 5) 7:37, 6) 5:11, 7) 7:40

– Ladder track workout (400, 800, 1200, 800, 400)

March 23, 2020 – This week I had a 45 mile week that consisted of a 6 mile progression run (3/25) and a 10x400m workout (3/28). Also four 50min daily runs and a 3mi recovery run.

March 16, 2020 – (on Strava) – This past week I had backed down the mileage a little in preparation for Track. Now postponed I will be possibly be upping mileage again. On Friday March 20, 2020 I completed a 6×800 at mile pace and averaged 2:32 per 800. Also on March 17, 2020 I did a 6 mile tempo run with 10 minutes at 5k pace. In addition for the couple weeks before track I had had six 60mi weeks. On March 7, 2020 I had ran a 5k Time Trail at the Northeastern Winter Series Race and Ran a “PR” of 16:24.  https://results.rmraces.live/
