T/F – My favorite track memory was the first time I broke 5:30 in the 1600m at the Twin Valley Invitational.
What do you enjoy most about the sport of XC and/or TF: I love being able to train and work hard in the off season and see my dedication pay off when I compete and PR!
Academic Highlights:
Clubs:
– National Junior Honors Society
– Student Council
– Health Careers Club
– SADD (students against destructive decisions)
Inducted into the National Honors Society as a sophomore.
American Legion Voice of Democracy Contest – 2nd place in Annville High School
Distinguished Honor Roll throughout freshman and sophomore years.
Favorite HS class to date and why: My favorite HS class is Algebra 2 because I like having a set of equations and plugging numbers in. I like that I can mathematically prove that I have the right answer. In most other classes you can explain how you got the correct answer, but with math you can prove it and there’s no indecisiveness.
I am interested in the following college major(s):
Healthcare Majors
Career aspirations: Physician Assistant
My ideal college coach would be: I desire a coach that will push and motivate me to always keep improving, but I also want them to be compassionate and understanding if I have an injury or my major requires me to complete a clinical rotation. I want to build a positive relationship with them and be able to trust them with my training.
Most important factors I will consider when choosing a college:
– Have my academic major
– Be the right fit in terms of size of school and class size
– Be at a safe and comfortable location
– I will be able to run for the college and have a positive relationship with the coach and my teammates
