
Just how competitive will each event be at this weekend’s District 3 Track and FIeld Championships? We took a look at the number of athletes entered by event who are currently ranked PA Top 25 by classification (prior to any District Championship meets). The most competitive event of the weekend, based on this scale, is the boys class AAA discus where 11 boys are ranked in the state’s top 25 (in class AAA). The most competitive girls event of the weekend looks to be the class AAA discus and high jump where 10 of the top 25 ranked girls in Pennsylvania (class AAA) will be competing.
