District 3 Class AAA Girls Pre-season Individual Top 100

Our District 3 Class AAA girls database currently features nearly 400 athletes. While we track performances throughout the entire year, greater emphasis has been placed on results from the 2024 cross country postseason—particularly League/Conference Championships and Districts. Performances from the 2025 outdoor track and field season were also considered to help fine-tune the final rankings.

We previously highlighted the strength at the top of the AA boys list, suggesting they might bring home the most state medals of any District 3 group this season. We may need to reconsider. The depth in the District 3 AAA girls field is exceptional—on any given day, as many as 15 athletes could be in the mix for a state medal. It wouldn’t be surprising to see them come away with five or more medals at States.

Defending District 3 champion and PIAA 3rd-place finisher Leah Navarro (so, Dallastown) returns and will be a top contender once again. She’s expected to battle for the District crown with Carlisle’s Ana Bondy (sr), who finished 4th last year before peaking at the right time to claim the individual runner-up spot at the PIAA Championships. Julia Leady had a breakout campaign last season, breaking 19 minutes on the District 3 course and following it up with impressive spring PRs of 10:38 (3200m) and 4:59 (1600m). Lyla Eltz (so, South Western) and Neila Granger (jr, Dallastown) are also strong contenders with a legitimate shot at District gold this season.

Our Top 100 list will be updated and published weekly throughout the season. It highlights individual athlete performances based on the results we receive and post to the website. Expect significant movement in the rankings during the first 2–3 weeks as more data comes in and athletes settle into race form.
