As the fall season approaches, the 2025 District 3 Class AAA boys cross country landscape will look quite different. 13 of the top 20 individual finishers in 2024 were seniors. Powerhouse programs like Manheim Township, Hershey, and Chambersburg all graduated top talent to NCAA Division 1 programs. With no dominant team projected this season the race for the District 3 team title is wide open.

Chambersburg enters the season as the early favorite, boasting a strong returning core and low-stick performer Aiden Alleman (sr). Manheim Township graduated three to Division 1 programs but could still battle for a repeat District 3 title. Sophomore Stephen Atteberry and junior Ben Doumaux are emerging as top performers. Those two along with senior Josh Henshaw give the Blue Streaks a formidable 1-2-3. Carlisle may have the best top 4 in the District led by Kolbin Heberlig (sr) and Seth Reichenbach (sr). If they find a strong #5 they could separate themselves from this field.
In truth, very little separates the top 8 teams this season and at least 11 teams could make an argument for why they will end the season with a top 5 finish and team trip to states. Follow along all season as we provide updated team scoring projections each week for the 2025 District 3 Championships.
