Our District 3 Class AAA boys database currently features over 400 athletes. While we track performances throughout the entire year, greater emphasis has been placed on results from the 2024 cross country postseason—particularly League/Conference Championships and Districts. Performances from the 2025 outdoor track and field season were also considered to help fine-tune the final rankings.
Joseph Murphy (sr, Hershey), Travis Furmanski (sr, Cedar Crest), and Chase Choudhry (sr, Exeter Township) enter the season as our preseason favorites for the individual District 3 title. Before an injury cut his fall short, Murphy was leading this group. He shifted his focus to the 800m in the spring and delivered a standout 1:50 800m PR. If he can translate that speed back to the 5k, he’ll be a serious threat. Furmanski is also riding momentum from a breakthrough spring, where he earned his first state medal with a 7th-place finish in the 3200m. Choudhry, meanwhile, lowered his 3200m best to an impressive 9:11.
While these three headline the field, the door is wide open. With 13 of last year’s top 20 now graduated, plenty of medals are up for grabs, and several athletes in our top-10 rankings believe they have what it takes to seize the crown while many more believe they can secure a coveted top-20 finish.
Our Top 100 list will be updated and published weekly throughout the season. It highlights individual athlete performances based on the results we receive and post to the website. Expect significant movement in the rankings during the first 2–3 weeks as more data comes in and athletes settle into race form.
