Central York, Delone Catholic, Eastern York, and Spring Grove @ West York

Boys:

Central York earns 4 victories today while West York goes 3-1. Brandon Baxter (Central York) continues his strong season winning today’s race in 17:59.

Girls:

West York girls go 4-0 today while Delone Catholic finishes 3-1. Central York‘s Olivia Gemma wins the individual race in 23:01 with Delone Catholic’s Julia O’Brien finishing 2nd in 23:28.

Gettysburg, Susquehannock, and York Suburban @ Northeastern

This was a clash between the top 2 teams in the YAIAA, Gettysburg and York Suburban. The Trojans take the win today over the Warriors 23-32. This race also featured a few of the top individual performers. York Suburban’s Cole Adams earns the victory over Gettysburg’s Andrew Hirneisen 16:30 to 16:50.

Girls:

Northeastern continued their strong season today winning all 3 contests. Gettysburg goes 2-1 today and earn a hard fought victory over York Suburban. That victory earns them at least a share of the section 2 title. Northeastern’s Bella Treglia and Margaret Carroll cross the line together going 1-2 in 20:43. Gettysburg’s Anne Bair (20:49) and Kelty Oaster (20:50) finish 3-4.

Dallastown, Fairfield, and Red Lion @ York Catholic

Boys:

Dallastown earns three wins today, including a hard fought victory over Red Lion 26-30. York Catholic‘s Joe Rizzuto crosses the line first in 18:10. Fairfield continues to look to be one of the top D3A teams.

Girls:

Dallastown and Red Lion has a tremendous competition today in which the Wildcats would prevail 29-30. Red Lion’s Gwendolyn and Kiersten Lloyd finish 1-2, but Dallastown puts 8 in front of the Lions #4 to claim the win.

Dover, Kennard-Dale, and Littlestown @ Biglerville

Kennard-Dale has another great day placing 5 boys in the top 7 at Biglerville today. Collin Wolf, Dan Gibney, and Garrett Quinan go 1-2-3 for the Rams. Wolf sets the course record today!


Girls:

The Dover girls ran very well today and placed 5 runners in the top 7 overall. Summer Hogan and Emily Hogan go 1-2 for the Eagles. Kennard-Dale‘s Delaney Barts broke up the Hogan sweep placing third. Hannah Hogan finishes 4th.
