Introducing Braetan Peters (Annville-Cleona)

Hello everyone! My name is Braetan Peters and I’m a rising senior at Annville-Cleona High School. I was raised in an athletic family with my mom running ultramarathons and my dad participating in triathlons, so I was constantly surrounded by running. When I was 7 years old I joined the youth track and field program at my school and loved every second of it! Since the youth track program was during the spring and cross country at Annville Cleona didn’t start until 7th grade, I joined Palmyra’s cross country youth program during 5th and 6th grade to continue my running passion. In middle school, I was finally able to join cross country as well as track. I was excited to represent my school and compete against other schools. An interesting fact about me is that I play both field hockey and run XC, so with the help of my incredible coaches, I have been able to balance both cross country and field hockey during the fall season for my entire middle school and high school career!

Although athletics consumes the majority of my life, school is another important priority. When I finish high school I want to become a Physician Assistant. I love helping people and want to have a career in the medical field.

I am so excited to be sharing my running journey and I hope that you are able to connect or use my experience to help you!
