I plan on running at Wake Forest University and to major in biological sciences to become a Physician’s Assistant.

My favorite school subject is Anatomy, I love learning how the body works, and it helps me understand more about running.

My favorite teacher is Miss O, my Anatomy and AP Bio teacher. The class is always super fun, and she makes hard courses really manageable and even easy.

My favorite books are the entire Will Robie series by David Baldacci, but I am beginning to read Once a Runner so I expect that book to be up there too.

My favorite movie is the Bee Movie. Ya like jazz?

My favorite quote is “Only the disciplined ones in life are free” -Eliud Kipchoge

My favorite thing other than running is riding a four wheeler or snowmobile, it’s awesome to rip around on those.

Something people would be surprised to know about me is that I’m very interested in World War Two era vehicles, especially tanks (yeah I’m a nerd sometimes, what about it?)

Favorite shoe brand is Nike, the racing shoes are amazing and the training shoes are better than I originally expected of them.

Favorite race of my high school career was definitely the 2021 state 3200, where I placed a surprising 2nd place.

I can’t pick a favorite high school memory, there’s too many to choose from!

My advice to younger athletes is that you shouldn’t compare yourself to others. Focus on your own improvement, and how much better you’ve gotten.
